Starting a New Art Program

Started in the summer of 2025, ArtBank hosts an open studio 1–2 times each week, offering 60–90 minutes of creative time for 10–12 artists with developmental disabilities. This newly created program is designed to be artist-centered, with a supportive staff-to-artist ratio of about 1:4. This pilot effort is helping to build an inclusive and welcoming arts community in rural southwest Nebraska.
